Make this a daily habit for best results.
- Water, water, WATER!
Your skin is 64 percent water, and I think that’s enough reason on why you should hydrate your body. When skin is hydrated, it looks plumper and the signs of aging are minimized. So aim for 8 to 10 eight-ounce servings, and drink them throughout the day as opposed to gulping them all at once. Your body can only absorb so much water each hour. After that, you’re just going to pee it out before it ever makes its way through your intestines, kidneys, circulation, and to your skin.
2. Moisturize Everyday!
Get yourself a body lotion that has hydrating minerals in it and an SPF that’s at least 30 which blocks 97 percent of the sun’s rays. Here, I use Nivea Hydrating Lotion since Philippines is an extremely hot country.
3. Veggies And Fruits Are A Staple Need.
I know, as much as I hate the other veggies, we should all take these organic vitamins for our skin and body. D’you know how Koreans get such healthy, smooth and glowy skin? Yup, less meat and more greens. *sobs*
4. Wash Away All The Dirt.
As to what Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach says, “Always wash your face at the end of the day.” Look for a facial wash that best suits your skin. As for me, I use Celeteque DermoScience+ Hydration Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash because it keeps my skin hydrated and supple.
5. Facial Oil Is Dessert For Your Skin!
Be it Argan Oil, Baby Oil, Primrose Oil, etc. It is best to keep your skin hydrated and
moisturized at the same time. Baby Oil is what I currently take. I use it every night before I go to sleep just so to let my skin soak up all the goodness throughout my slumber.
6. Get At Least 7-10 Hours Of Sleep.
Speaking of sleep, many people are having a hard time getting enough and nowadays, it takes a lot of bravery to stop yourself from infinitely scrolling through your phone and I am guilty of this haha! Seriously, sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. A good night’s sleep can mean good skin health because when you’re sleep-deprived, your body makes more of the stress hormone cortisol. Elevated levels of cortisol can lead to increased stress and inflammation in the body, hurting your skin’s quality. Getting your beauty sleep isn’t an old cliché — it’s a must for having skin that glows.
